SHAYKH ZAIN UL AQTAB SIDDIQI

Shaykh Allama Zain Ul Aqtab Siddiqi Hijazi Naqshbandi is the third of four sons of the late Maulana Abdul Wahhab Siddiqi (ra). He is a unique and dynamic scholar and lecturer of the deen as well as an established solicitor of the Supreme Court. He is also vice principal and senior lecturer at Hijaz College Islamic University.

Shaykh Zain ul Aqtab grew up in the northern town of Blackburn and then moved to Coventry where he spent his adolescent years studying various disciplines of Islam under the instruction of his honourable father (ra). In addition to his Islamic education, he read Law at undergraduate and postgraduate level and is currently practicing as a solicitor of the Supreme Court and Senior Partner of Saints Solicitors in Coventry. As an expert in both Islamic and British Law he has appeared before the County Court, Crown Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, providing expert evidence on intricate areas of Islamic Law.

Sheikh Zain ul Aqtab has travelled the globe on innumerable occasions during the course of the previous 15 years delivering his message in a magnificent and eloquent manner. He is fluent in seven different languages and has mesmerised diverse audiences of up to 20,000 people, with his vivacious deliberations and unique delivery skills.

Shaykh Zain ul Aqtab is the architect behind the Hajveri foundation, an innovative and dynamic platform to cater for the growing needs of the Ummah of the 21st Century based in Manchester. As part of this initiative Hajveri Foundation have been running an adult learning programme (Suyuti Institute Of Learning) for all those that were unable to benefit from the sacred knowledge at an earlier stage of their life. As a senior lecturer at the Suyuti Institute Of Learning, Shaykh Zain delivers regularly on subjects such as Aqaid (Sectarian Theology), Tasawwuf (Mysticism), Usool-e-Hadith (Principles of Hadith) and Usool-e-Tafsir (Principles of Commentary of the Majestic Qur’an). Hajveri Foundation also aims to develop facilities for an art gallery, an Islamic library as well as other Islamic recreational facilities.

Shaykh Zain ul Aqtab currently resides in Coventry with his wife and daughter and is conducting research in various areas of Islamic thought. He offers his time and assistance to all those seeking guidance and wanting to practice Islam.
