MAULANA SULTAN MAHMOOD

Maulana Sultan Mahmood Naqshbandi Hijazi is one of Hijaz College Islamic University’s finest graduates. Accomplished with knowledge of the Islamic sciences he also managed to complete a degree in Law and is currently a practicing solicitor in personal injury litigation.

He studied both his spiritual and secular studies at HCIU and is a lecturer at the Suyuti Institute of Learning as well as a visiting lecturer at HCIU.

His lectures have inspired many young intellectuals to embark upon the path of learning Classical Islam under qualified scholars across the United Kingdom as well as overseas. He has a special interest in Fiqh and usool-e-fiqh and is currently conducting active research and regularly deliberates on contemporary issues affecting muslim youth. He lives with his wife and daughter in Bolton.
