Welcome to The Blessed Summit - Assalamo Alaykum

The Blessed Summit is an excellent opportunity to put aside the day to day stresses and free oneself in the sanctuary of Hijaz. Over the first weekend of July we invite you to contemplate and reflect on your life and direction in the serenity of these tranquil gardens. The Blessed Summit experience is engineered to allow you to drift into the realm of the spiritual world, in a retreat of self examination and critical analysis of oneself (Muraqabah), a stepping stone to the reformation of our character by means of a deep inner struggle (Mujahadah).

Food and refreshments are served throughout the weekend along with tea/coffee to help the body along its journey. For short breaks you can take a stroll along the stalls and browse along the stalls selling a multitude of Islamic merchandise and souvenirs to take back with you (e.g. CDs, DVDs, perfume, hats, jubbas. jilbabs etc).

On the final day of the The Blessed Summit there will be speeches by internationally renowned guest speakers followed by the annual graduation ceremony of the young Hijaz College scholars. The peak of the day is the key note speech followed by dhikr and the final supplication to Allah marking the end of a beautifully unique weekend.

Through this weekend we aim to deliver an experience to redefine one's direction in life and recharge oneself for the struggle ahead in improving and refining one's character and conduct. An experience tailored to equip the individual with the intellectual tools with which to engage in society as well as the stability to lead an upright, moral and Islamic life.
